Today we are having a meet up at Annie Smyth’s studio in Bickleigh. As Co- founder of Exe Valley artists it has been good to see this group expand and we will be holding our first joint exhibition in September at OHSCC in Tiverton. We had a great meeting today and were joined by our newest member Joey Weber who bought lots of ideas to the table. We discussed how we could create our own pop-up gallery. I have already booked a space for us to share for the whole of September. I am inspired by beautiful landscape. I love Devon, where I live, but it was on the Isles of Scilly, I found the smallest gap between Heaven and Earth: These lovely unspoilt islands have defined me as an Artist, painting colourful and thoughtful landscapes, transforming changing skies and shifting tides on to canvas. It is here I try to unravel my relationship with nature and capture the essence of a special place.
