Painting away in a studio all day can absorb me for hours, but it can be a rather solitary existance. It is great to meet up with fellow artists and exchange ideas from time to time. A group of us have formed the Exe Valley Artists and we meet at Bickleigh Mill over coffee, cake or hot soup. We discuss a number of ideas, group exhibitions, Devon Open Studios and such like. It’s great to share ideas,talk about art and generally feel a sense of belonging. We are meeting again this Wednesday at 1pm. If you live in the Exe Valley roughly between Bampton and Bickleigh, then come and join us.
