This was a first for me. I went to check out the London Art Scene at the Design Centre, the Islington Art Fair. Having applied, I was offered a free ticket by Axis Web and also the Millennium Gallery in St.Ives. Although the tickets are for 2 people, I went on my own and managed to catch a train out of Devon despite the huge amount of snow!

It was a fascinating experience. The gallery owners all keen to attract art collectors rather than artists but they were happy to offer advice and a few asked me to email them with some of my images so that’s a start! Most of the art work appeared to lean towards expressionism and abstraction which was interesting. After 3 hours there I think I pretty much saw everything and came away wiser and definitely inspired by the huge variety of art. If you get the chance, go to a London Art fair I had a great time!
